Rain Garden Workshop

In an effort to improve water quality in the Pewaukee River, PRP participated in the planting of the Pewaukee Public Library Rain Garden in the spring of 2006. Approximately 7,000 native perennials were planted in a large landscaped "bowl" along the west side of the new library building.

Now PRP has joined with the Kettle Moraine Garden Club, the Lake Pewaukee Sanitary District, the Fox River Partnership, UW-textension and Waukesha County to sponsor a rain garden workshop entitled "Rain Gardens...a Beautiful Soluntion to Water Pollution".

This event will be held on Tuesday, June 26, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm, at the Pewaukee Public Library. Pre-registration is appreciated. Call the Library at 262-691-5670 Ext. 25 or email pwlib@pewaukee.lib.wi.us.
